Most
Christians have been taught (1) that it is impossible to live a life of
consistent obedience to God's will and (2) that it is not possible to live
without committing sin in this life.
We
do not pass judgment on Christians who are sincere and truly believe these
teachings; however, we know, through personal experience, that many
Christians would like to live a life of constant and consistent victory.
We
believe the Christian life is a life that has been changed radically
through the atonement in Christ. The indwelling presence of the Holy
Spirit enables the Christian to face and to overcome any and all
temptations God may allow.
We
believe that biblical holiness is neither legalism nor fanaticism, but a
consistent obedience to all one knows to be the will of God and that such
obedience comes from a deep and heart-felt love for God.
